A member of the Frame Perfect, The Collective team responsible for the Eco Market and Green Line Fashion Show for Haringey Council part of the Go Green Urban Urban Festival, sponsored by 4U2 News Magazine.
My role as Art Director in this community project was to devise a cost effective and environmentally friendly concept for the fashion show, catwalk and styling workshops using reclaimed, recycled and repurposed materials.
Passion, Love, Pain
Fashion Is Art - The Exhibition
Saturday 28th May 2022
New River Studios, 199 Eade Road, N4 1DN
I am proud and honoured to have been involved in Fashion Is Art - The Exhibition, a grass roots initiative celebrating creative and cultural diversity. Devised by Frame Perfect, the collective production company and Passion, Love, Pain Clothing, who’s objective was to discover the undiscovered by creating a platform for local artists from various creative disciplines, including fine art, street art, illustration, photography, film, fashion, dance and poetry to express themselves through the theme of Passion, Love and Pain.
A one day event held at the New River Studios in Haringey featuring poetry, music, dance, video art and fashion, hosted by Creative Director Maxxine Griffiths, surrounded by a curated exhibition of fine art prints, paintings, photographs and a contemporary fashion instillation made from recycled materials. The experience left visitors and exhibitors alike with a buzz and a shared feeling of unity after taking part in an event that was the embodiment of Passion, Love and Pain. Artists shared their stories, personal struggles and experiences with mental health, pain and vulnerability. It was beautiful to feel the warmth, love and support that emulated collectively from this safe space. Congratulations to everyone who took part.
I would personally like to thank Teelo of Frame Perfect and Emma of Passion Love Pain Clothing for devising the concept and providing the venue for this immersive exhibition. I wish them every success in securing sponsorship from Haringey and The British Arts Council for future events.

KickStart Swim Academy
I am pleased to announce the completion of a small identity project for KickStart Swim Academy. My brief was to create the start up business identity and brand guidelines.
the full project can be viewed at
https://www.behance.net/gallery/76664209/KickStart-Swim-Academy
Kickstart Swim Academy was founded and is run by Hayley Munday, who’s been teaching, coaching swimming and managing swim programmes for over 20 years. Being an ex-competitive swimmer herself, she understands the importance of stroke development and stroke technique as well as the importance of early stages of learning.
Hayley is a fellow member of Institute of Swimming, The industry body for swimming and coaching.
For over 10 years Hayley managed a swim school with just over 1300 students on per week. Hayley was responsible for teaching standards and tracking all the children’s progress.
The Memory Project
I’ve been inspired to create this personal project after helping my daughter with her final year assignment at school; on the theme of smell and how it triggers memories. A topic that resonated with me personally, having experienced it first hand when my mother was diagnosed with Dementia; loosing her memory and cognitive functions.
The Memory Project is my exploration into memory, the senses and the human condition. In this series of work I’ve explored the symbolism of ‘bottles’ as repositories of memory. Using different print, casting and photographic techniques I’ve tried to give the subject matter a new permanence, imbued with memory and meaning.
The Photoshoot
Working collaboratively with still life photographer Graham Pearson on the shoot. Firstly we shot the plaster cast bottles on a neutral background, giving the artwork an architectural presence and scale, like a gallery. We then shot the bottles in a premium luxury fashion, parodying the cosmetics industries slick advertising style.

Dune London 25th Year Anniversary Collection
When founder Daniel Rubin opened the doors to the first Dune London store in 1992 he set in motion a truly British brand that has become loved the world over. Harnessing the entrepreneurial spirit of his forefathers, his mantra of 'affordable luxury' has made Dune a by word for beautiful ladies and men’s footwear.
To mark Dune’s 25th anniversary, the brand have produced three iconic, limited-edition pieces. Drawing inspiration from Hyde Park’s ornate Queen Elizabeth Gate, the timeless suede court shoe is adorned with winding blooms, studded with delicate rhinestones and pearls, with a matching box clutch as its perfect partner, for him, a silver embroidered black velvet slipper, completes the collection.
Working closely with founder Daniel Rubin and Head of Creative Jamie Brogden, my role was to create the '25th Year Anniversary' identity, the Limited Edition Collection packaging, photography, moving image and retail concepts. As well as being tasked with creating a celebratory hardback book, mapping the evolution of the brand for conception to International footwear brand.
The limited edition pieces will be available from 29 October 2017, to coincide the brands birthday.
